Will these cracks on tyre wall fail MOT?
Comments

Regardless of MOT you should get them changed asap.
How old are they?
The cracking around the lettering near the rim is particularly concerning.1 -
I don't understand why people play dice with tyres. They're your ONLY contact on the road. Would you put your kids in the back of a car with those on whilst driving down the M1 at 70?

Thanks guys.
Managed to find one place that I could book for Monday. Was looking on blackcircles and they were all Wednesday at the earliest.1 -
I can't imagine those cracks being enough to fail an MOT. They have to be so big that you can see the cords of that hold the tyres together in the cracks.I have driven around on tyres much worse than that.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.1 -
Another vote here for "no, not a fail"
Another vote here for "...but I'd be replacing anyway"
On one sidewall, there will be a long code starting with DOT and ending with four digits in an oval. What are those digits?0 -
