How's your purchaser progressing? Obtained their mortgage, appointed a solicitor, requested that the searches be made straightaway. The chain will only complete at the speed of the slowest party.1

I mean its abit unfair for anyone to be calling the shots on how long they want to wait right away like that. Its not fully in your control. Abit rude if anything0

We lost our buyer and had 11weeks to turn around our sale before our mortgage offer expired on our purchase, and that included a two week closure for Xmas. We managed it, but it was stressful! And at least our property was freehold. Unfortunately our new buyer couldn't use all the stuff from the previous buyers solicitors as he wasn't on their mortgage panel 🙄
Good luck, but remember things get flagged up out of anyone's control. But what will happen if it takes say, 10weeks, will your vendor pull out? As long as you can show everything is progressing in the right direction it would be silly to pull out over the sake of a few weeks, especially if they have vacated the property.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0
