Due to fly to Malaga on 24/08. Husband has suffered a pneuthorax and been told he cannot fly. Easy jet say I'm not entitled to a refund. Is this correct?

Some tickets are refundable, some are not. The T & Cs of the tickets you bought should make this clear.
It is wise to buy travel insurance as soon as you make a booking, so that this kind of misfortune is covered.

If you cant get a refund, flight changes are easy from the website, flights are listed all the way to July '22.0

If Easyjet aren't willing to help you with this then you should resort to your travel insurance (which is what it is for).0

easyJet standard fares are non-refundable unless easyJet cancels the flight. A travel insurance claim would be straightforward.Evolution, not revolution0

Assuming its standard then its absolutely right, they are only liable if its their fault. This is what your travel insurance is there for0
