Valuations are being corrected by mortgage lenders left right and centre and then vendors feel the need to ask buyers to make up the difference.

Do you have evidence for this? Do you work in the sector?
Just what seems to be happening locally and with friends nationally.

Oh and newspaper articles/surveys if you do a bit of research.

So sorry! Hopefully your broker can find you an alternative solution.

Will they let you put the offer in with an expired aip?
Thank you, maybe they would but I would hate to mess the sellers around by putting in an offer and then something go wrong with the broker next week and have to withdraw!

You can use a whole load of search words - like, down valuations.

Do a bit of research. Or don't.

    This is complete twaddle.

Thank you - your opinion is as valid as mine no doubt.

OP, I don't understand, why do you have to wait to Monday? MBs never make you wait so long? Is it a bank advisor appointment?

Agreed, although whilst yours is opinion, mine is an informed opinion, informed by working in Financial Services for over 15 years.
