In the HMRC letter dated 5th July they said ' If you have not heard from us by 27th September you can assume that we have no questions to ask about the information or values you've given on the form IHT400.  We may still ask questions about changes you tell us about at a later date.'

In the last sentence they mean changes you tell HMRC about on Corrective Account C4 which is the form used to notify changes to provisional values identified on the initial submission of IHT400.

You need to get to the bottom of why you have not received an equivalent letter.  Given that Probate has been granted I strongly suspect that it may have been lost in the post unless your solicitor is the correspondence address and she has the letter.

Apparently, you got the letter as it was a personal application according to the solicitors secretary. It's a joke really, like people who are using solicitors don't need a reference or a timeline!

12 weeks has been and gone - which is presumably around the same time as yout 27th September date. Awaiting information on the paper file incase there is a letter floating around.

Did you solicitor submit via https://www.gov.uk/guidance/myhmcts-online-case-management-for-legal-professionals? If so, ask what the tracking information on the case looks like.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

Your legal adviser logs on (the log on is for the adviser's firm and covers all cases they have submitted, so for obvious reasons they can't give clients log on details) and gets the following:
