    Really? That sounds highly unlikely to me given where the strimmer and car windows would be Strimmers operate near ground level.

    This is just a random accident that he's not liable.
    She needs to make a glass claim.
    There may be an excess for replacement (mines £75) but it doesn't usually count as a claim for NCD purposes.

    it's just one of those things that's not anyone's fault and she needs to use her own insurance.
    It's really quite quick generally to get a glass claim sorted.
