IHT and PAYE tax refund

My late sister is due a PAYE tax refund for the current tax year. I assume this amount is part of her estate and needs to be on the IHT forms. Can someone confirm this (IHT400 box 74)?

I didn't have to do an IHT400 as it was under the IHT limit but I did include it on the online form as an outstanding debt owed to the estate - I'm not sure where I entered it.FYI, I received a cheque from HMRC shortly after the probate was approved but I'm not sure if that was co-incidence or cause and effect (I imagine the former as HMRC wouldn't be aware of whether probate was needed or not )0

Yes it is, and that is the correct box.0

Yes, I put it on box 74 - with a note in additional information to say this was am estimate as I’d not received the actual figure at that stage.0
