God knows why they allow them to be in hospitals but I'm sure it's all about the spiel about 'rich data' from the wonderful technology, and 'extra security' and all sorts of other flannel that excuses ParkingEye tracking the cars, including faces of patients and visitors 24/7 and then getting their data.
Horrifically unjustified and intrusive way to run a hospital car park but apparently the previous Surveillance Commissioner seemed to be under the delusion that everything was fine about parking firms using ANPR. Hopefully the new ICO/Surveillance Commissioner is more through in their scrutiny of this industry. And REALLY IMPORTANT PLEASE - DO US AND YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE:https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/78411172/#Comment_78411172Please, please come back in August to check and make sure your voice - AND YOUR FRIENDS’ AND RELATIVES’ VOICES TOO - is/are not missed from this final opportunity to take part in the Government Consultation, coming very soon!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
