Technically since January 2020 (I was there previous to that but left when I was pregnant & rejoined once baby was here) When I emailed them about cancelling immediately their reply was:Aylesbury_Duck said:
How long have you been a member? If you're already at the 6 month point or beyond, it doesn't matter if they've breached the contract, you can cancel with no notice anyway.Chilli_Heeler said:Would you agree that as they don’t mention price increases in the T&Cs they are in breach of the contract & therefore I can cancel it immediately?
If you're paying by direct debit, don't think that cancelling the DD cancels the contract. It doesn't, it needs to be cancelled properly with the provider.
” No problem we will accept your notice period as of today on your signed agreement from starting with Fusion Fitness. We are sorry to hear that you wish to terminate your membership. As I'm sure you will understand that since lockdown and during a world pandemic all businesses have looked at there pricing structure and made changes with immediate affect we have given all our members ample notice taking this into consideration with our contract of terms. We will end your membership as agreed and signed on the 1st of September.”
I’ve yet to reply because I want to get all my facts right. The payment comes off as a card payment each month, I had to put my card details into the app.0
