Really busy yesterday with my new business and Prestige Telecoms rang and asked me to change my EE to a business account. I online signed a contract & provided my pac code which is going to O2. EE didnt warn me and can't cancel it as it's going through but not yet with O2. I cant get hold of Prestige (Plan.com). How can I cancel port of my number which is still in the ether? Connection date 27th. Any advice would be great.

If its business you probably can't as the expectation is you do due diligence before committing, as none of the protections for consumer accounts exist for business, including cooling off periods.Moral of story: Never say yes for anything regarding a business account unless you're 100% sure its what you want.3

Prestige Telecom / plan.com called me yesterday but made it seem like they were EE - including security questions from my password/pin (which with hindsight they either hacked from EE or didn't mind what I said because it was a complete pretence). The sales call suggested they looked after EE business accounts. Twenty minutes into the call it became apparent they were nothing to do with EE, but were simply attempting to hijack EE customers, so I brought things to a close. This seems like a well thought out, highly professional bit of business duplicity - BE VERY WARY AND TAKE CARE!0
