Due to go the Canaries in August (don't think it'll happen but that's another thing) and there's one thing I'm still yet to be 100% sure on. The pre-departure test for myself and partner won't be needed because we are double jabbed and 10 year old is too young. My 13 year old however would need a negative pre-departure test, although she tested positive 6 weeks ago so would fall into the 180 day thing. How do you go about getting proof of the positive test and has anyone travelled to a similar country and encountered any problems with showing this as proof?

Some countries will allow entry with proof of a recent past infection, others won’t. You need to check the rules of where you are going.
if they will only accept a negative test then that’s what you need to do. If the 13 yr old is still testing positive then your holiday is doomed I’m afraid.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
