  • Fitted two customer purchased Euro close coupled rimless back to wall wc's, not overly impressed although they do what they have to do. Some parts were missing but thats probably down to the eretailler not checking contents before shipping.

Have purchased for my own place, similar euro wc's from b&q (online)  Only as they had made an error with their pricing, could not resist  <3

@Another_Level If you were not impressed with Grohe, which other brand do you recommend?

Had Grohe rimless close coupled fitted in clock room and main bathroom. Two years on and can say I am not particularly happy and thought of changing them has crossed my mind from time to time.  I do have Grohe shower, that I am very happy about, that I would recommend.

  • Personally i have no issues with Grohe although i sometimes think your actually paying extra for a badge.

Anti bacterial glaze coating is available as an extra on their sanitaryware.

When it comes to rimless wc's.  Rak is my first choice but i shop around the premium marques checking prices.

Grohe taps, showers etc are designed for european high water pressure & quality.

The Uk is a target market for all the manufactures/importers, its a country where diy flourishes and no country loyalty to where the items are made.

Thats why there is so much choice

Our sanitary ware is a mix of Duravit, Sottini, V&B, Clearwater and a recently purchased - but not yet installed - stone resin basin from Click Basin.

Taps etc are Hansgrohe, Utopia, Gessi and Steamvalve Originals, Abode in the kitchen/laundry.

No issues with anything and we have used these brands numerous times over the years in many houses.

Previously we've also used Crosswater, Porcelanosa and Arte Form for bathroom stuff which we were happy with too.
