Tapi's price for that is disgusting.  100% wool Axminster costs less.  The carpet shown might benefit from run over with a powerful vacuum cleaner.

We mostly use carpet as a protective layer for wooden flooring. When we did the renovation in our house, our wooden floor was in not so bad shape. A little magic from the flooring guy and our wooden floor became as good as new. And till this day, I personally do not see the point in buying expensive and high-maintenance carpets, especially if you walk in your home in shoes (due to the picture). Plus, I love children, but buying such carpets for them to feel soft and expect the carpet to look good is a little naive. Or it must be only we who don't appreciate our efforts.

We have a great local flooring shop near us in Stockton. They covered our full house with carpet runners for a very good price, and we are more than satisfied since every mess our kids make stays on the carpet, which can easily be changed any time, unlike wooden flooring. While this mess can be cleaned out of the carpet, it's a good carpet.
