Faulty Cleverspa from The Range

I bought a Cleverspa end of last summer fro. The Range. I've set it up at the weekend and won't heat up. The Range are telling me they won't refund me as my warranty is with Cleverspa. Is this right? Do I not have an agreement with them as the seller?

It's right and wrong. If you're making a warranty claim, it would be through Cleverspa, but you also have a consumer rights contract with The Range. After almost a year, The Range don't have to refund you straight away. They will probably ask you to get it inspected and if deemed faulty as a result of poor manufacturing (as opposed to misuse/abuse, etc) then they can choose to repair, replace or refund.Jem_lara14 said:I bought a Cleverspa end of last summer fro. You may prefer to make a warranty claim with Cleverspa instead, but you need to read the warranty agreement to see how to do that and what the outcome might be.0 -
Your Consumer Rights are with The Range, your warranty (if there is one) will be with Cleverspa.
Your CR - as you have had the item longer than 6 months you need to commission a report which deems the fault an inherent one.
Your warranty is whatever is specified in the warranty T&C.0 -
The range are responsible but getting them to agree is another matter my wife used to work for them and their idea of consumer law is almost as poor as their employment law0
