Equifax Statutory Credit Report Online

I am having some issues with the data on my Equifax credit report and want to get a copy the statutory reports for both me and my wife.
When trying to get mine online, it just takes me back to my Equifax account. When my wife tries, the only way to get it online is by creating an Equifax account which she cannot do without giving credit card details. Unfortunately she has never had a credit card so the whole process fails.
The only option that remains is to send them an application form in the post.
Has anyone else had similar problems to this?

Accessing your statutory report online is via your Equifax account - you should just need to register/log in. Can your wife use a debit card instead of a credit card to pass the verification checks?

You can request it by post by the way

Yes, I can access my credit report, but it is exactly the same as my Equifax credit report. I guess it is my mistake to assume that the statutory report may be different in any way. My Experian and Transunion statutory reports are a lot more basic, unlike my Equifax statutory report.PRAISETHESUN said:Accessing your statutory report online is via your Equifax account - you should just need to register/log in. As regards my wife’s report, she did try her debit card, which appeared to be accepted, but was immediately followed by an error message suggesting she log in to her account. She tried this but then got an error message to phone Equifax. She has no desire to phone Equifax and reverted to the post option.
From my experience, Equifax have very poor systems compared with their competitors. It does concern me that they are authorised to hold all of our financial data on their files.1 -
Thanks for replying but I had already noted this in my first post.Deleted_User said:You can request it by post by the way
