We've got several shorter ones joined together - wouldn't that work?

There are plenty of 200m hosepipes available - see HydroSure Flexible Garden Hose Pipe - 13mm x 200m | Water Irrigation. Or you could join a couple of 100m pipes with something like Hose Joiner Connector For Putting 2 Garden Pipes Hoses Together Pack Of 2 | eBay#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3660

I'd use one of these per join required -

The one on that ebay link is for quick connect, so needs the end of each hose to also have a quick connect fitting. Plus it is more points of connection to potentially leak.
For draining down and storage its likely to be easier to deal with 2x 100m coils than 1x 200m coil.

It might be advisable to check the drop in flow and pressure over that distance due to friction loss .1

If not the hoses themselves, I would imagine water (hence pressure) would escape from the join. The more joins, the greater the potential loss.J_B said:knightstyle said:100M available on ebay, simple to join two together.Long story short - daughter2 got married, tent in the field next to the house.Bought two 50m lengths off ebay 'heavy duty'Morning of the wedding we had about five bursts in the pipe.Doing it again, I would use alkathene pipe despite the fact that it may not look quite as pretty!!No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.0 -
Not with proper LDPE pipe and associated fittings, or at least I hope not, as we've about 300m of the stuff buried round our place and in the region of 12 taps and 2 horse troughs!Rosa_Damascena said:
