Hi

I have manual storage heaters but never an auto version.
Does it store heat and release to a certain room temp? Is there a thermostat you can adjust?
How can I work out how many KW it uses each day?
Any help grateful received.

     • Concealed, easy to use controls •

...according to an online description I found (and house not hoise).  So possibly the controls are there but you have not found them.

    No hard and fast rules.

This will depend on a) the size of the heater (in kW), b) the output setting you use .   And that will all depend on the weather and how much heat has been released the previous day

    It's kWh not kW

I see the SSH6A is rated at 0.85 kW and described as a "bathroom" heater.

    Do you have E7 ?

The maximum will be 5.95kWh on Economy 7 but that's if you turn the wick right up and it hasn't retained any heat from the previous day because the weather is cold.

The controls are probably hidden behind a flap to discourage young children playing with them. They should be quite easy to find, but you won't need to unscrew anything. They probably work like this

The controls are concealed, look for a break in the facia, anything that might lift to reveal the controls.
