When applying for the Virgin credit card, what do I need to do in order to benefit from the 0% credit transfer?

Do I need to 'pretend' that I have a large outstanding balance with an existing credit card provider?

What is the maximum amount I can transfer at 0%?

Sign the credit agreement and ask for the balance transfer - it's as simple as that!

Do you have another credit card? You'll have to do this if your other card is at 'zero', ie no balance. However, why 'pretend' (and create potential issues with positive balances) when Virgin allow you to transfer a balance from your current account?
