Why is my Covid Pass (for events) bar code only giving me a 2 day expiry date?

Being a ‘double jabber’ and residing in Wales I visited “gov.wales/get-nhs-covid-pass…..”, applied for and got my NHS login and then starting from a Welsh NHS website secured my pass (we in Wales cannot use the NHS app for this).
Despite my not being asked to specify why I wanted the pass it has been issued in respect of domestic use only i.e. not international travel. An accompanying note states that the 2D barcode expires 30 days after issue but another note shows it’s expiry to be 48 hrs after issue. And finally yet another annotation states ‘Valid in England’ with no mention of Wales.
I have tried speaking to a number of people at 119 and the Welsh Vaccine Service on 0300 303 5667 and no-one has been able to help, at all.
Does anyone know of any other routes for sorting out problems with these passes?

Good afternoon Nurby. I do live in England.
When I went in to NHS Login after I had successfully and fully registered, I could go in and actually see my 2 vaccinations logged in there, together with the batch numbers. Can you see both your vaccinations on that site?
Before I solved my problem, by fully registering, I wrote to the Customer Service Team and here is what they replied.....National Customer Service Team (NHS App and Login)

Thank you for your query.
The COVID Pass within the Events section gets renewed every 48 hours whereas the Travel pass gets renewed every 30 days. This is because the Events pass requirements are either being fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks prior OR having a negative Covid-19 test recorded within 48 hours.
Because of this, the implementation of the Events pass is set to auto-renew it every 2 days regardless of whether you are fully vaccinated or not. If you are fully vaccinated then it will renew to still be green whereas if you are not and have not recorded a new negative Covid-19, it will turn Amber.
We appreciate the wording under that particular section is a bit confusing and we are looking into it.Kind regards,

Also, did you do the full registration, where you actually have to prove your identity?
This involved either letting your Smart phone scan your face and a copy of your passport or driving license etc. Or in my case I sent a small video and had to read out a number they had sent me.
(When I first started to get the Pass, I had only done a small log-in that was only valid for the Pass and that was giving me the problem with the 2 days.)
I don't have a Smart Phone or App and used this method to set up the full registration. Does this work for you? ........

Thanks Annemos, I think I was tripped up by there not being any warning that failure to proceed through the full ID procedure would mean the pass would be limited to events only. As I’m not planning any foreign travel this year I simply didn’t bother with full ID.
So, reading more fully of your experience has led me to see that completing the full ID procedure looks to be a solution so thanks for that.
