If really no address for landlord then no rent is due.  !
There is an address though. It’s in the tenancy agreement.

He regularly threatens us if we ask for repairs by saying he has no money left for the house and will sell if he has to repair anything, and once had a full screaming go at me
What method did you use to get hold of him previously?
We have spoken with him personally 3 times, each of those times we’ve phoned his family member, and then the landlord has phoned us back from a withheld number. Generally any conversations go through the middle man.

With regards to moving, we live in an area where rentals are hard to come by, so we’ve been trying to just stick with it while we saved to buy somewhere. We are now looking for a house to buy, but typically it’s at a time when the housing market is crazy. Hopefully we’ll be out soon.

Just issue a notice to the address and keep a copy. Start saving to move. When he hits the roof and tries to get deposit show the letter
