Travel to Spain with Ryanair

I am really confused about the requirements for travel in early August.
We are both double jabbed and understand that a negative test is needed 2 days before returning to the UK. It seems an antigen test is sufficient?
Is anything else required?

after 19th July as you are double jabbed, returning from an amber country will not require self-isolation on return but will require a day 2 test to be booked in advance of your return with booking reference entered on your PLF (same rules as Green country)
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/quarantine-free-travel-to-resume-on-19-july-for-fully-vaccinated-passengers-returning-from-amber-list-countries
This assumes that there are no changes to the announced plans (as there has been for those returning from France who will still be required to quarantine)1 -
Hi, I am also travelling to Spain next week – and need clarification of this information. We are a family of four 2 double jabbed adults, one 5-year-old and one baby.As I understand it, we don’t need to test prior to leaving the UK. The adults need to take a test two days before departure from Spain – this can be a rapid antigen test? (and am I correct in thinking we can take one with us – such as the Qured test?) Then three of us will need a PCR test on day two (the two adults and the five-year-old).
is this correct?0 -
Not sure about the test before return in terms of taking it with you. We have booked one in a clinic over there for 40e.0

Yes you can book your tests before you travel ,you do a Lat Flow Test 2 days BEFORE you return to the UK and another test 2 days after you arrive home ,this one is posted off to the test kit company who do a full check to make sure you do have covid ,you have to pay for the tests and cannot use the NHS kits which are free in the UK.voixdeville said:Hi, I am also travelling to Spain next week – and need clarification of this information. check before you buy the kits as some of the cheaper ones are getting bad reviews , check this forum for more help.0 -
You will need a certified test within 3 days before returning to the UK (if you arrive on Friday, you can take the test from Tuesday), then a further test before day 2 on return (which can be done in the terminal after arrival).💙💛 💔1
