I've downloaded Firefox to a new laptop, and it's working as normal. However, the different categories/groups I have stored have just an empty file symbol next to them, no icon, and when I open a category/group, the sites just have a round globe-like 'sign' next to them, there's no icon.
I've hunted high and low in the settings etc, Googled it, I don't know whether I'm describing it wrongly. Can anyone help?
TIA
David.

Have you just imported your list of bookmarks? If so, the icons won't be present until you have visited the site.1

I've visited the sites numerous times, but still nothing.

I had this ages ago but I can't recall how I fixed it.Have you saved the bookmarks etc to a HTML file. If so use something like Revo uninstaller (free) and uninstall and scan for leftover files and delete everything, reboot, reinstall FF and import the HTML file.0

If you have the previous profile you should just be able to copy it all over and everything will come back. History, passwords, bookmarks (icons), extensions...
