can someone tell me how these work- i plugged my ipod into one, turned on the ipod but didnt seem t otuen in on the FM car radio when i scanned the stations- nothing at all even though red light on itrip cam eon.

do i need to do something first to the ipod to make it work?

have you used the cd that came with the itrip and run the itrip setup program

This adds an iTrip playlist to iTunes, plug in your iPod, add the playlist to your iPod.

Plug the iTrip into your iPod,

i didn't get the CD that comes with the itrip as i got it off a friend as a freebie- are you saying it's useless without this CD- is it a CD i can borrow off someone else or is each CD specifically for each itrip- can you use 1 cd for more than one ipod?
