I had a look at the balance transfer on my Select Card through the app like you had stated and yes, I have got 18 months 0% offer on there. So I just need to spend on a different card and voila!

I know you were originally hoping for a 0% purchase offer which would have cut out the middleman of needing a second card, but hoped that this would be a viable alternative for you. Unfortunately, it will cost you the 2.4% balance transfer fee, but I’m pleased that you’ve got a way forward that works.

I just received an email with this offer.
But I think the 2.4% fee is a bit too high for 18 months.

Btw, I ordered a replacement card for my Select card and instead of the bright silver I received a new dull blue card. I really liked the old design with larger logo. The silver colour was brighter than Amex Platinum. Now it's just one of 5 blue cards in my wallet...
