Moving water butts by using a rainpod max. Anybody tried one before...?

Looking to move my water butts away from the house to the end of the garden. I found rainpod max that looks like it will work just wondering if anybody has tried one before. I should be able to have loads (well 5 at least) of water butts linked together as I have space at the end of the garden and not by the house where the drainpipe is situated. It would be nice to save more water this year for the garden etc. Thanks

Nope, no need for this thingy. My garden slopes downhill and and has a handy barn at the end of it with a huge roof. I actually wanted a wadi to flow away from the house, but my wife said the building inspector wouldn't approve, so I built a soak-away.....for now.
A first post asking about a product is bound to make people suspicious and one has to ask, if this thing is so simple, relying on water finding its own level, would you need other people to tell you the physics works?

    De-bunking the claims....

"During heavy downpours a rainwater diverter will self overlow as they cannot handle too much flow."
Ignoring spelling... 1/2" hose has a limited flow rate, and if you're trying to fill a water butt from the base, there is going to be water pressure to overcome. Can't see how a Rainpod is going to be better on that count.

"All rainwater will go into RAINPOD max and channel off to your water butts."
I doubt that is true - See above about flow rates and pressure.

"RAINPOD MAX will connect directly onto your downpipe and completely illiminates the need for a rainwater diverter."
(Another spelling error) What is the Rainpod if it isn't a rain water diverter ?
Certainly isn't big enough to store any significant amounts of water !

Don't see any debris trap, so I would imagine the device will get clogged fairly quickly. No obvious way of cleaning it out quickly & easily. Also darned expensive when compared to a FloPlast diverter from somewhere like Screwfix.
