Help. Investment/savings advice

Hi.

I'm sure someone out there can advise.

I live in France and still have a UK bank account and post address.

Recently I inherited and then sold my parents house..
My question/questions relate to the best way to invest the proceeds, bearing in mind that I live in France.

1..Am I able to open accounts in the UK, eg, regular savers, ISA, with my present Bank or  with other Banks.
2..If so, what would be the best choice of accounts to split the proceeds between?
3..Am I able to start a private Pension?

The amount is less than £140,000

Many thanks

Jacqs1

In most cases, no.    The UK is no longer part of the single market and UK financial firms cannot offer financial services to EU residents unless they are set up with branches and authorisations from member countries in the EU.

3..Am I able to start a private Pension?
No.   Theoretically possible if you were resident in the UK during the last 5 years but the EU residency is still a problem.

as you are not a UK resident you cannot open a UK ISA

Why not transfer money to your own account abroad? or leave it in an a your current account split across 2 UK accounts to take advantage of the FCS protection.

Premium bonds would be an option
