Has anyone experience of geranium expresso?
I like the look of it and thought it would look good with the Pinks in my garden.

Saw it for sale at a good market stall.
I have a scented leaf one similar and it blooms early in the year when needed. Also semi evergreen which is useful and needed.

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

When does this flower? Information is varied but suggest it's an earlier flowering variety but goes into summer for a while.

I had related 'Elizabeth Ann' for a while, but it failed Dave's tests for length of flowering and went in the bin. When selling plants it's important to have a flower, no matter how good the foliage. If you are happy with the leaf colour, it could be OK.

Thanks both. The one I have has a red tinted green foliage and goes nice autumn colours so a useful addition for it's compact shape and hardiness and colour of the leaves + the scent.
I think I'll go for it. Anything that just looks smart and neat, gets no bugs, no slugs and doesn't need watering in hot weather is a goer for me :)

    This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."

Dave that one looks a great 'doer'. I'll look out for it.

It's more widespread now than it used to be. We got ours from Bob and we've not been to his nursery for about 15 years, so it has probably proved itself by now.

I have that I was given a cutting from my sister years ago, mine is in hot and dry bed east facing , no maintenance needed.

....... could also be invasive if anything like my maculatums in the last garden i had.
I love all geranium species, but oh gawd ..... they took over and always had to keep them in check.
