Help My newly plastered walls are still not dry after 6 weeks ??

  • It does seem very unusual Ees. Even with a 'cold and dark' hallway, the current ambient air should be drying this out in double-quick time.
    Doors and windows open at both ends of that hallway - get a draft going through there.
    If that dark pink is even slowly becoming light, then that would suggest it is still damp. If there is no change whatsoever, then that might indicate that - for some reason - it's just darker plaster!

    They're not great pictures, but that looks dry to me.  You'll never see even coverage.  

    It will never really take 6 weeks for plaster to dry, so if there are genuinely wet patches then it is likely to be damp ingress or a leak.  
    Those areas will feel softer, so if you scrape a fingernail into it, some will come off. 

    So, if there are patches that have only been drying in the last few days of very dry and warm weather, you probably need to consider if there's anywhere that water can be getting to that specific area.
