A iTrip is a short range FM transmitter for the iPod.

Select a channel on your car radio that's quiet.
Turn on your ipod and start playing a track. tune your itrip to the same frequency that you have selected on your radio.

    BTW Which iTrip is it?
That gum you like is coming back in style.
  • I use one on my iPod mini. It has a default frequency of 87.9 so the radio needs to be set to that frequency. Not sure what the defalts for other iTrips are but I'm guessing they're similarly low down the dial.

if you have a local radio station whose frequency is similar to the itrip's one then you are scuppered, i'm afraid. if you have an i trip with multiple frequency options it's usually better.

edit: mine does four frequencies in the 107s
i have heard that on some i-trip type devices bought from overseeas some people's car radios mightn't work with them because their radios don't go up or down as far as the right frequencies or only scan even/odd numbers
