Hello all, I'm back ! Thank you to everyone who kept my spirits up, you are a superb lot of people 🧡I had a lovely lie in without thinking we had to go out at sometime today and a knock on the door finally roused me......... a delivery of beautiful flowers and swiss chocs from Mr Fix It, daft 'aporth 🥰. I think I'll hang on to him for a while longer 😂. He's not feeling so good today so rest and recovery are nursies orders for him.Yesterday we celebrated " freedom" by going to bandq on the way home. I went mad in the paint isle and now we have enough paint to do some paintwork upstairs, emulsion for the bedroom, varnish for the wardrobes and cupboards in the bedroom and paint for my cast iron patio set, which is looking decidedly jaded. I let Mr Fix It loose in the tools isle but he wasn't really up to walking around there so he only put sanding paper in the trolley, he must have been feeling under the weather as usually he will find a tool that he "needs" although if you looked in the sheds you'd think differently 😯The sun is shining today so I have stripped the bed and the bedding is ready for the wm but it will have to wait it's turn as I've got a load of towels and the bathroom set in there at present. I shall re-make the bed, dust and hoover the bedroom, then I aim to prop myself outside with my book.Sorry I haven't kept up with all your news, I hope to have a read back later. Hugs to anyone in need though.RedRuby I hope you and yours are feeling better today.Take care allnan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently12

Ended up going into Glasgow yesterday for a few bits, it was fairly quiet but totally uninspiring, probably as I wasn't looking for anything in particular.Did you not see Indiana Jones being filmed? I've been into town to sign the Confirmation papers and the place is festooned with American flags and pretend diners and even a pretend subway station. https://www.glasgowlive.co.uk/news/glasgow-news/glasgow-indiana-jones-5-shoot-21049246I didn't see Harrison Ford but plenty of extras wandering around looking American. 😀 Luckily it's a beautiful day here so they all were happy.

Good morning everyone
I am sorry I haven't been around but I had sepsis again in my bad leg and have been in hospital for the past 10 days or so. I have been very ill but the NHS as always were amazing. Steve picked me up this afternoon and I am going to spend a while recovering and trying to find out why I keep getting poorly and see if I can do anything to help prevent these attacks. The worrying thing is that it was all so sudden. I went to bed ok and woke up at 5am with a stonking temperature and pain. The very frightening thing for me was that initially the staff thought I had the flesh eating bacteria and called Steve back into the hospital to hear from the surgeon. I was scared then but fortunately it wasn't as bad as they feared.
My lovely sister has also been on her adventures. She went up to London to have the operation but once the surgeon opened her up, there were more cancerous tumours so they closed her up and sent her home while they thought of another plan. The upshot is they are going to still do the operation so that will be happening next week. My poor Mum has been frantic with worry for the past couple of weeks so hopefully there will be a few days of calm.
Right, I can't really sleep long so I am going to do some research...Google here I come!
I will write more later when it's officially Thursday. Take care xx7
