Out of curiosity - another timeline query

Hi all,

Just wondering out of curiosity how long everyone waited for their sellers to find an onward purchase?  Our offer was accepted 03/04 and our sellers are still looking.  We don't mind, just looking for other peoples experiences too.

Thanks

idk how useful this is but we only waited a couple of weeks for our sellers to find somewhere; they had already got a couple of properties in mind when we offered and they went back for second viewings, offered on one and were accepted. this was back in feb/march and everyone was wanting to get in before stamp duty holiday (we did) so that probably motivated them to get a move on!
  • @Philomel thank you, we thought when it was accepted in April it would be a push to complete before stamp duty for them, how wrong we were   :D

Was a crazy period of time. If a chain formed above then end of June was never achievable.

Offer on my house was accepted on 9 April and we completed on 28 June, so tough but achievable.

yes, our vendors' vendor broke the chain and went into rental so there were only 2 properties involved which made it easier (we were coming from rental)
