Would you retire really early and burn down most of your DC pension assets?

I would rather retire few year too early than too late and becoming less mobile ,   work to live don't live to work or be full of regrets when much older and reflecting on your life

Could not agree more with this, though would be interesting to hear from anyone reflecting on life just to be sure

I pick up a dB pension at 60 ( 3 yrs time). My DC funds are specifically there to get me through to state pension age.

My small SIPP, will be used for a year whilst I get another year of a generous LRF,  and then for a few years later until I collect my state pension.

I am doing this - DB local gov pension at 60 (3 yrs ago) plus small DC pension from final employer (now with PensionBee) taking monthly amount using UFPLS to take me 66 to be used up by March 2024. Then state pension and another DB pension added to income at age 66. Given me 5 years early retirement.
