If you are looking for public liability for your market stall do NOT use The Stall Holders Club, it is a scam site. Just lost £59.50. It looks simple and user friendly but it is a scam.

In fairness to the site though, its footer on every page states its a Hong Kong based organization which should be a red flag for buying insurance. If you go further into the site there are a series more like no policy wording anywhere or the fact they say their data privacy policy is based on US law

I admit I rushed into buying this and did not look deep enough into the site. I have paid my money and received nothing in return. They have never answered a single message. In my books that is a scam, taking money under false pretences, and I just don't want anyone else losing their money . Lesson learnt on my part.

Hence the link to the FCA portal for reporting unregulated sellers of insurance etc

I literally just paid these people 

I want to sell at a market in my area but was told I must have PLI. The organisation said the cost should be around £60 for a year, I was seeing quotes £280+ some as high as £500.

Membership of this club seemed reasonable, and I couldn't find any negative feedback when I searched. But obviously have since found this post   

I'm gonna right this off, but will still contact my bank now.
