Hello,
I am hoping for some pointers. We have a family holiday (Fuerteventura) booked for August and I wanted to ask for pointers to affordable companies for pre-departure test kits and Day 2 test kits when we return.
Prices seem to vary wildly and wondered if anyone has stumbled across any hidden gems.
Thanks in advance
Mike

It might be worth looking to see what your tour operator or airline is offering. Many have subsidised the test costs for their customers.

I do not know the entry requirements for Feurteventura but remember you need a test before leaving to come back to the UK. I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about when you say 'pre-departure'. If you are please ignore me  just want to make sure you are aware.

Randox do a £48 test. You most likely will not get cheaper than that for a PCR. Search for discount codes too.

Highly recommend Qured for test to return to the UK. £39 per test which they post to your UK address and you take them with you to your destination. You then take your test via webcam (phone, ipad, laptop etc). They see you take the test, you send them a picture of your result and passport and send you a certificate, providing you're negative.

Sounds expensive and a faff... was €27 for a local latflow test for friend coming from the canaries at a local pharmacy. UK Border Force accept the certificate in English, French or Spanish (but no other language)
