British Grand Prix

Hello

I bought British Grand Prix tickets for my family next weekend.

OH has COVID so we are self isolating so can’t attend. We have completed a form to cancel our tickets for this year.

Silverstone says we can’t have money back, only roll over our booking until next year. 

Are we able to get a refund?  I can’t even find their terms and conditions and there is no phone number. Even if it’s in their t&c’s, is this ok?

If you can't go for your own reasons (rather than because the event is cancelled) you're relying on their goodwill for anything beyond what the terms say. There's no statutory right to anything from them.

To be honest next year has the potential to be extremely interesting.  New era cars, new budget changes and a big shake up of the sport makes anything possible.   I'd be happy with a ticket for next years race.

even having it rolled over to next year is a bonus as the race is going ahead with spectators, As another poster said next years event will be much better in every way

different cars etc, more entertainment in camp sites..if you are camping and no testing etc before the evnt (hopefully)
