    The problem with multicar policies is that they are not really multicar policies.

    They are multiple, single car policies, with a discount applied across them in lieu of the referral fee the insurer would otherwise have to pay Confused or GoCompare, or ad agencies....

    I had until recently one 3 such policies with esure/Sheila's. It was painfully obvious that they were 3 separate policies rather than 1 policy for 3 cars, because esure's pathetic systems wouldn't even let us provide the same contact email address for each of them. 

    I do find it a bit rubbish that insurers are allowed to market a product to make it sound like a mini-fleet policy when it's really nothing of the sort.
