Anyone know if Eon smart meters can be accessed remotely on phone pls?

I have a smart meter provided by Igloo in a holiday let, and the IHD connects to Wi-Fi allowing me to see real-time usage using an app (Bright) on my phone.
Is this a standard feature of all smart meters? If not, can anyone with an Eon meter please tell me if they support remote access?
Thanks.

you can use the bright app with any smart meter linked to the DCC. (so all smets2 meters, and any smets1 that have been upgraded)1

Any smets2 smart meter can, just need the code on the in home display to setup the bright app1

To be totally pedantic, no unapproved external device can to be connected to/ or access a smart meter comms hub. Bright App is owned/operated by a registered DCC User which, with the consumer’s approval, can access data from the comms hub in a totally secure way. The thought of millions of consumers connecting their phones; computers and CADs directly to the comms hub would give GCHQ palpitations. Similar third-party access to data will be granted to PCWs et al if and when they become registered DCC Users and have DCC-approved secure access software: known as an Adaptor. Hildebrand that owns BrightApp has also developed its own Adaptor software.tastyhog said:Any smets2 smart meter can, just need the code on the in home display to setup the bright app1 -
Great - thanks for the confirmation - I was considering switching suppliers before getting smart meters installed, but will just go ahead with Eon.
