Alcohol on eBay

So I entered a couple of raffles and have won a few bottles of gin and other alcohol. A bottle of champagne was also won which retails at about £30.
Is one allowed to sell these type of items on ebay if they are a private seller? Also if one is allowed, how would one post them?
It sounds like it would be too much hassle so was just wondering if anyone else has any experience? My work mates are in for a treat if I don't sell them. Haha.
Thanking you in advance.

Sell on FB Marketplace? Gets rid of postage issue, or another local ads page?1

You need a licence to sell alcohol in the UK.3
-
Donate it to a charity as a raffle prize

Either donate them, gift them (maybe the champagne for when a friend has something to celebrate) or drink them.2

Sell the bottles only .......that will "Need to be cleaned" of the contents at some point !2

I would re-gift them when the opportunity presents itself. The postage / fees / potential comeback etc, plus the eBay restrictions meaning you can only sell the "collectable bottle" it's barely worth it for what you will end up earning after expenses.
• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.1 -
If you just want to sell it the only thing I can think of is to find a friendly pub or restaurant who might want it. To be legal you may have to donate it and then get a gift voucher in return. Even that may not be legal, so check the law before doing anything like that.Family is probably your best bet.

Sounds like far too much hassle. God knows how one would post them being in glass bottles.
Colleagues wife will be buzzing with the gin and the champagne I will save for a birthday present.
Thanks for all the advice folks.0 -
There's no hurry. I won a bottle of gin in a raffle once. I don't drink it and at the time knew nobody who did so it just stayed in a cupboard until eleven years later and it was perfectly ok I was told.1
