I think it can - there are really strong adhesives around, but do you really want want it glued? -It's supposed to be fixed by other means - https://www.ukpipeboxings.co.uk/product-category/fixings-accessories/ - and then, possibly you can silicone the gaps.

No issues here hiding pipework in the wall. Looks so much neater, easier to keep clean (no pipes to get dusty) and if there is an issue, that’s what we pay home insurance for as long as you have the trace and access cover.0
