I have just noticed that my Clearscore report says it is updated weekly. This always used to be monthly.

They have not advertised this anywhere as far as I can see and I have not received any notification. Has anyone else noticed this?

For information, it says this on the Overview section of the Report page.

Updated weekly - Updated 5 days ago

Get daily reports (This links to an upgrade offer at a cost of £4.99 per month which is undercutting the Equifax subscription by £2.96)

I spotted the weekly update notice when I logged in a few days ago. It will be interesting to see if it does.

I wouldn't be paying to upgrade.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

Instinctively, I would say no, it is not worth it.

They are just preying on people's fears based on media exaggeration of the potential dangers. Not to mention the fabricated importance of the credit score

This though, is just my opinion and mistrust of anyone offering such services for a fee.

The weekly update, if continued, is a welcome change. It is also timely as my free Equifax account (following the data breach a few years ago) will end in December 2021. I also prefer the Clearscore online site to the new (and old) Equifax one. Clearscore also has an app which Equifax does not.

This brings Clearscore into line with Credit Karma which moved from monthly to weekly some while back.

Now it is just Experian which does not have a free weekly full credit report update, as the MSE Credit Club update remains monthly.
