Good advice, but what happens when the Mother then says to the child "you will have to change schools because your Dad won't pay for it"... - emotional blackmail and a horrible position for the Dad to be in - created by the CSA.

I know but it is blackmail, besides how many mothers would put their children through that...many would just accept that he was doing a great job and cancel the csa. There are of course those who wouldn't:rolleyes:

You sound like a fantastic dad what a shame that the pwc doesn't seem to realise how lucky she is:rolleyes:

You need to tell the pwc that if she continues with the csa you will stop paying the school fees and any extras and she will have to manage solely on what she gets from the csa. This woman is being greedy beyond belief and you need to put a stop to it otherwise you will be walked all over (look at other people in similar positions on this site). Advise her that you will only continue these extras if she closes the case!

Exactly. There are too many PWC that expect more and more and more and use their children for financial gain against good fathers. Its time the system was made fair. By all means go for the jugular where those fathers who dont give a S**t wont pay or help support their children in some way, but for those who really do want to help support the children, take this into account too. Not all fathers are crap, they just get treat unfairly by the systems in place. It seems the PWC hold all the cards and NRP's get dealt the rouhg end of the stick. I am a PWC believe it or not and my ex yeah he maybe a bit of a rubbish dad sometimes but my daughter loves him and they have a good relationship when they see each other. If there is aything I need help with eg half of school skiing trips etc then he will where he can pay the half. Why sppoil what could be good for your child. At the end of the day, BOTH parents wanted the child. I you solit and the Mother / Father wants the child to live with them, why bother the other one wth a load of stress when it ws your choice to have your child live with you in the first place, therefore your responsibility. Thats the way I look at it. If your children have a good relationship with the NRP why strain it where it really does not need to be strained and risk what your child thinks of thir father / mother. By all means split costs where necessary, but my god starting the CSA route when your getting what you need is crap. Unless yo cannot come to some agreement, or where the father is not interested do it. But in other cases whats the point !!
