Ebay and Nectar points bonus offers, nice but annoying.

I have enjoyed the Ebay/Nectar points arrangement for a few years and in particular their regular bonus points offers.
The problem I have is the skimmed points payout versus the very clear description. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed or perhaps my interpretation is wrong?
I got yet another 6X points offer on my ebay account today, wording as follows...............
'Up to 300 base points plus 6x Bonus Points on items over 15GBP'
So as a past example of exactly the same offer, a £15 item should be awarded 15 base points + 90 bonus points = 105 nectar points.
All their bonus offers lose the base points, so in the above example only 90 paid in total. I have noticed this since the very beginning of the Nectar arrangement with Ebay and it has always been the same short changing on Nectar points.
Your comments on this appreciated.
