Hi. Can anyone help? My partner is travelling from Glasgow to Alicante with Ryanair and I can't find anywhere difinitive information on whether or not he needs a negative C-19 test result and if so which test he needs to do. I know for entry to Spain his C-19 vaccination certificate is enough but have no idea if Ryanair require a negative test result. Many thanks.

I also want to know the answer to this.
I'm also due to travel with Ryanair to a country that accepts double vaccination in lieu of a test. I've asked them via Twitter if they (Ryanair themselves) have any testing requirement regardless of the rules in place in the destination country but they gave a generic answer that isn't clear. Certainly it has been reported that they will keep to mask wearing after July 19 regardless of what the countries decide so I do think it is quite reasonable a question to wonder if they will impose testing or vaccine requirements over and above country based rules.
Unless someone has actually traveled with them very recently to such a country, I suspect we won't learn the answer here but you never know....0 -
Travelled with Ryanair 2 weeks ago and no test was required to travel to Spain but things change very quickly so you need to keep checking. I am travelling with them again next week and as I am double vaccinated I believe no other test is required.1

You don't need to take a test before you leave but you have to take a test while you are in Spain to get back into the UK1

I went to Spain 5 weeks ago and no test required at that time, although as has been mentioned things change daily, so please check regularly. Prior to returning we got a Lateral Flow test from a company called IMED for €40 with results in 20 minutes with a printout. They have outlets in the areas surrounding Alicante. You can pre book to avoid any waiting. The test was fine for our return leg this week.0

The requirements are a list of country specific requirements. Does or will Ryanair have more restrictive policies ?
I think they do. e.g. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/breaking-ryanair-orders-passengers-wear-244629700 -
Ryanair will check you have the necessary documents for entry to another country. If you don't you won't get on the flight.
So, Ryanair do not have a requirement for a test to fly.
But you need to prove you have any required test result to be allowed to enter the other before you will be allowed to board the flight.
