Viewing multiple properties with the same estate agent

First time buyer here: apology if this is a dumb question - is it okay if I view say 6 properties with the same agent? I'm slightly concerned if I request to view too many properties they might not take me seriously...

We viewed 3 properties with the same agent the other day - all in the same vicinity and similar spec / price. What would the problem be?0

All perfectly normal, everyone will expect you to be viewing a significant number of properties.0

Thanks for the quick response I was probably thinking a bit too much!0

I think it's a better way of doing it.
I saw 6 flats with a single EA all one afternoon, and it finally pushed me to pick.
Too much choice out there sometimes!

I would imagine if they are all wildly different they might think you don't know what you're after so not really serious about buying yet. But if you are looking at 6 2-bed flats in the same kind of area and same rough budget then I'm sure they'd be pleased at the prospect that you might well like one of them.0

As others have said, if they're similar properties then I can't see them being bothered by it at all. It might even pay off down the line, if another property comes to the market that falls into the type you're looking for, they might give you a call to make you aware of it. Either way, the more you view with them, the higher chance you have of buying through them and earning them their commission!0

We viewed multiple houses on 1 day with an EA - they were local to one another and the same sort of spec and it was the EA that recommended them as they matched our criteria. We ended up doing a second viewing on two of them a few days later, then made a decision and proceeded with one. We dealt with the same EA the whole way through the process (until the seller pulled out at exchange
and now that we're back at stage one looking again, the EA calls and emails us with new properties before they go to market as they know what we're looking for. Makes the job easier all round!

That is what I would expect to do when first starting to look at properties, for an estate agent or two to show me a selection of things in the correct price range and area that are already on their books. Later in the process might only be the odd new one coming available.
