Hi Guys, I’m after some help, my elderly parents are flying to Crete, Greece from Bristol in a few weeks time after their flight was previously cancelled. They have filled out Passenger location forms from the Greek government  and have their NHS info to allow them to travel giving documentation evidence of having both doses of their vaccines. In all the info I have read the Greek government only ask for this or proof of a negative co vid test. Not both of these.
someone else is telling them that Ryan air will not let them fly unless they have a negative private PCR test to prove this. Is this the case, they are getting very confused and stressed about who to believe. I have spent days on the customer service chat for Ryan Air and keep getting disconnected after holding on for hours and just cant get through on the telephone either to get a definitive answer.
Can anyone please help. Thank you so much in advance. They find travel stressful enough, with out all this going on.
They will also be out there for over a month, so not having to test to come back to the U.K.
Lisa

No harm in making some preparations but rules on pre-departure and pre-arrival testing have been changing fairly regularly for most countries and are likely to continue to do so, and likewise boarding prerequisites for airlines can't be regarded as static, so chances are that it'll be necessary to monitor the situation regularly leading up to departure rather than expecting a definitive answer at this stage.
  • The Gov.Uk travel advice for Greece and the Ryanair COVID advice  for Greece say what you have stated, not what some person has told them.

As the previous poster has said things are changing day by day so keep checking both websites, best to go to the official websites rather than letting them be worried by what “some person” has told them.

I hope they get away safely and have a lovely time.
