Same here. Got my first "rewards" paid yesterday.
Take off the fee and it's a free £3 per month. Not life changing but pays for a coffee once a month.0 -
They paid £7 in to my account yesterday in 4 x transactions (3 x £2 and 1 x £1) and took the £2 fee today. So I'm £5 up this month...sssshhh :-)
I'd completely forgot I'd signed up for the cashback thing and wondered what was going on at first! D'oh.0 -

I have just received a text message from HSBC confirming I earned £5 Cashback. No mention of it being £7 though🤫

I've since had a text and email saying I've earned £5 cashback, despite them paying £7 in. (Very) little wins ;-)
Seems to be they gave me 2 x £2 payments for the debit card use looking at the codes/abbreviations next to them, wonder if there's a glitch and I've used mine 20 times, not very money saving of me if so.0 -
That's interesting. Double checked my account and I also got £7 paid in and £2 taken out
£1 for Mobile App (MOB)
£2 for Direct Debits (DD)
£2 for Debit Cards (DBT)
and another £2 for Debit Cards

Just got a message in the app saying that the extra £2 was an error but they won't be asking for it back.
Looks like someone at HSBC made an expensive mistake.0 -

Not quite Monopoly level though. Still, it's decent of them not to ask for it back.1 -
I've just logged into my app and also got the message that I received an extra £2 and that whilst this was an error I can keep it.
Shame I doubt it'll happen again then. Maybe I shouldn't have posted about it on here, drat!0 -
Anyone else had this come through? Was expecting them to roll this out to all customers but haven’t seen a peep of it yet.0
