DWP PIP payment recall

Hello all
So I am due a PIP payment tomorrow (Thursday 8th July 2021) but on Tuesday 7th July 2021, I called the PIP helpline and asked for the payment (that was already processed) to my bank to be recalled as my old bank is currently frozen and so I won’t be able to access my money, I gave them my new bank details for the payment to go into instead. I was advised it may now take up to 7 days for it to reach my new account. This happened to me before with Universal Credit where I had to have the payment recalled 3 days before my payday, after it was processed to my old bank account but it still managed to arrive in my new account on my payment due day. I would like peoples opinions if they believe my PIP payment would or could possibly still arrive in my new bank account on time for tomorrow? It may be possible as Universal Credit recalled it before on the last minute and still arrived on time in my new account. I will appreciate all of your opinions as I’m not sure how the PIP recall process works.
thank you

We could only guess whether you will receive it tomorrow. If you don’t then all you can do is ring DWP.Although as you only rang them yesterday then it’s unlikely you will receive it for tomorrow.0

It deoends when the PIP payment is sent. I'm asking an obvious question, but why didn't you phone up before yesterday?

Unfortunately I didn’t receive notification from my bank that my account was temporarily frozen until two days before my payment day, though it has now been unfrozen I wish I knew that before I had it recalled as I would of received it today as normal.
as suspected it never went in today, I phoned the DWP but they said they haven’t yet received the payment back from Halifax and Halifax stated it is on the way back to DWP.Any guesses when it will likely arrive back at the DWP? Also does anyone know when the payment may of started making its way back to DWP, like as soon as it was recalled? Or only from today, when I was supposed to of received the payment?
thank you all for your opinions0 -
When did your payment arrive? As I’m in same situation.0

I was due my payment last Thursday, rang to and was recalled two days before, still not received it as of yet, now on following Wednesday.0
