I currently have a very standard wireless thermostat system and wanting to upgrade.
I currently have a very standard wireless thermostat system and wanting to upgrade.
I did not live her when the boiler and thermostat system was set up.
Will the current wireless thermostat have a wired receiver somewhere in the house or could it be linked directly into the boiler?
Thanks for any help

I think that you need to tell us more about the thermostat and boiler you have at the moment; that is, boiler and thermostat model.0

Unless the thermostat is made by the same manufacturer as the boiler it is pretty certain there will be a wireless receiver somewhere in the house. Look for a plate with an LED light on it the same size as single socket/light switch. Try the airing cupboard if you have one.Reed0

Redundant thermostat (right) and receiver (left - removed from wall socket).Reed0
