Which, if bought from somewhere like JL, would have had a 2 year retailer warranty anyway. Or maybe a Bosch, with a 2 year manufacturer warranty?J_B said:I've always been of the 'don't bother' method which has stood me well,
but 2 years ago, our 18 month old Beko FF broke and it was the condenser (?) which we were advised, made it beyond economical repair!chrisw said:Fridge freezers rarely break down. It's usually the plastic internal bits such as the drawers which break after 10 to 20 years. These wouldn't be covered anyway.
These policies are awful value, especially on white goods such as fridge/freezers, which generally do not go wrong. if you must buy them, never ever purchase from the retailer, because they mark them up typically 100%. Buy direct after the manufacturer cover expires, if you must.No free lunch, and no free laptop
