You need that in writing, by email from the Council...surely you asked for that? What’s the point of phone calls, they give you no evidence at all.

You then complain to the DVLA, showing them your proof. Don’t bother with IAS, get evidence and then show it to the DVLA.  You could also complain to the IPC but they are the parking firms.

CAG is sadly the most clueless forum for private PCNs. I joined again hoping they’d be better but then you see the dire quality of the ‘advice’ and the fact they won’t let you link to the experts here or pepipoo forum.

Hi there. I wondered if your PCN was cancelled because I'm in the exact same situation as you. I was parked on Wollaston close at around 8pm for 2 minutes and got a PCN for Strata, 8 Walworth Road. I called LPS and they told me that they owned most of Wollaston close and Council owns the first 10 metre only therefore I was parked on private land so my appeal was refused. Did you pay your PCN?
